Older heads lead way in double header cycling weekend
Older experienced heads led the way at the weekend’s double header rounds of the Calder Stewart Cycling Series in Hokitika. After under 23 riders dominated Februarys opening round in Dunedin former national champion James Williamson (SBS Ricoh NZ) won the elite men’s CYB Construction Hokitika Classic 134 kilometre race while Timaru brother and sister and current masters’ national champions Amy Hollamby and Chris Karton won the women’s 80 kilometre and masters 107 kilometre events.
